The ultimate love story continues in "Love Never Dies", Andrew Lloyd Weber's sequel to Phantom of the Opera.  The is 1907, 10 years after the Phantoms disappearance in the Paris Opera House.  He has started a new life in New York City where he lives on Coney Island amongst the freak shows and screaming joy rides.  But his desire for Christina Daae has never died.  With Christina now one of the world's finest sopranos coming to NYC to perform, the Phantom lures Christina, Raoul and their son to the glittering world of Coney Island not knowing what is in store for them.

The international Irish dance phenomenon is back by popular demand in Riverdance - The 20th Anniversary World Tour. Drawing on Irish traditions, the combined talents of the performers propel Irish dancing and music into the present day, capturing the imagination of audiences across all ages and cultures in an innovative and exciting blend of dance, music and song.  Of all the performances to emerge from Ireland - in rock, music theatre and film - nothing has carried the energy, the sensuality and the spectacle of Riverdance.   This 2 PM matinee at the State Theatre will have a pre-show lunch at The Hoffrauhaus.

Tue Feb 27          Orchid Mania                           Cleveland Botanical Gardens                                    $55 pp

Each year the Cleveland Botanical Gardens offers a stunning indoor display of orchids throughout the Botanical Gardens.  This amazing display will be on exhibit from late January thru early March.  We will make a trip into Cleveland to see this great exhibit and have lunch at the Provenance Cafe' at the Cleveland Museum of Art.  Lunch will be on your own so everyone can have exactly what they want that day.  We will spend 2 hours there so you might take in a bit of the museum if you  which then off to the Orchid Mania Exhibit.  We will plan to stay 3 hours for this great exhibit and "get out of town" before rush hour!

Thu Apr 19         Cleveland - Historic and Ethnic                                                                                  $85 pp

Join me again this year for another installment of Cleveland's rich history.  We will begin our day at Burke Lakefront Airport where we will join our guide, John of JKL Tours - the noted Cleveland historian.  Our day will include Gordon Park and Lakeshore Park, Dike 14, a natural habitat created on the waterfront by sinking ore boats to protect the shoreline.  Next we will visit the Cold Ware of the 50's and see a launch site that once held 30 missiles.  The Millionaire Mansions of Bratenahl is next followed by the Waterloo Arts District.  Lunch at a small out of the way eatery in Lakewood followed by Whiskey Island and Wendy Park.  This area is now a growing skyline of the city.  The original Chinatown is on the agenda and a stop at the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame with time to visit their gift shop.  Our day will be complete as we visit Cle's newest neighborhood, Hingetown, supporting new boutiques and an avant gated Art Gallery created from an old Transformer Station.  This is a most unique mix of Cle's history, today's attractions and a peak into the future of our city.  This is sure to be a sell out so sign up ASAP.  Lunch will be a treat!!

In a virtuoso performance, Cleveland's favorite award winner, brings to life the remarkable story of America's Composer, Irving Berlin.  Irving Berlin's story epitomizes the American Dream.  This phenomenal composers works are enduring songs, from "Alexander's Ragtime Band" to "White Christmas", he has touched the lives and hearts of all America. Join me for this wonderful presentation of this most famous playlist.  We will enjoy a pre-show dinner at Macaroni Grill on our way into Cleveland Playhouse.

The crowning event of the 2018 Broadway Series is "Hamilton".  When and if tickets are available for groups is yet to be determined - probably not until early 2018.  The show will be here in Cleveland from July 17 - August 26.  When I know - I will let you know as well!  It will be posted on the website for everyone to see and I will email everyone who has already expressed interest in the show.
